If you're in the area, definitely stop by and enjoy the friendly service and great food in this small town diner! The prices are extremely fair, especially considering how well they execute regional favorites like green chili posole and chili rellenos! We'll be back!!!
This is a great local gem, it's been owned by the same family since the beginning. Last night I had the cheese enchiladas and they were perfect on a cold night. It was pretty busy but Jennifer was awesome. My meal came with soppapillas and there was plenty to share with our entire table (3).
If you are looking for amazing authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the spot! Some of the local shops said it was their favorite. I must say it was probably the best I've had. It is the perfect small town diner where the locals patronize. Food was excellent and so was the service! My waitress Courtney mentioned that the restaurant had been in her husbands family for several generations since the 1950's. If you are passing through Winslow and stop for pictures standing on the corner, walk the extra block and grab a meal with the fine folks at The Brown Mug!
It's a small place but the service was excellent. I had the chicken enchiladas which was delicious and flavorful. The wife had the chicken tenders with fries and were very good. The bread was fantastic!!! Overall, definitely 4/5 stars. We will definitely ordering from here the next time we visit Winslow
Brown mug has been a decades-long staple in Winslow for good reason. I've been eating here since I was a kid and the food is consistently delicious. This is now my daughter's favorite place in town, she highly recommends the shredded beef enchiladas, Christmas style. Stop by for amazing food and be sure to sit where Harrison ford did!
